The
real event, the event of the events neither seen nor heard anywhere else on the
earth, happen every 12 the year and is known as Kumbh or Mahakumbh, When the
number of people visiting the place is beyond anybody’s guess and for a month
Allahabad becomes the centre of the Universe.
Every twelfth year,
when Sun is in Areis and the planet Jupiter is in Aquarius (Kumbh), this event
known as MahaKumbh takes place, when an ocean of humanity not only visits
Allahabad but also stays in Mela area for 45 days (more than one month) to take a holy dip at
Sangam, the confluence of holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati,
which are considered to be the most sacred rivers on the earth. It tests the
nerves of district administration as well as that of the state administration.
